About the Department

The Department of Biochemistry was founded in the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdulaziz University / Rabigh at the outset of the faculty establishment in 2009. The Department is specialized in teaching Biochemistry, which is one of the basic medical sciences. This subject is concerned with the concepts of the structure of biomolecules and their metabolism in the living cell.
